CET are pleased to announce the successful award of another major contract at one of the UKs international airports. CET were awarded the contract on 10th October for site investigation works as a part of the latest phase of a terminal development project.
The contract, for works to be carried out in November and December 2015, includes the provision of detailed geo-technical and geo-environmental information by means of concrete cores, deep rotary boreholes, window sampling, CPT testing and associated, off-site geotechnical laboratory testing.
“This is a fantastic win for CET and we’re excited to be working on such a high-profile project” says Gary Corrigan, Commercial Director for CET. “The contract award is a reflection of our reputation for doing great work, both landside and airside. Being security authorised on the Airport ID scheme also gives us an advantage. It means we can free our client from time consuming testing activities as we are able to self-manage both routine and specialist airside activities””
The contract is the latest in a long line of successful projects carried out at UK airports by CET. In recent years, we have been commissioned to provide on-site and laboratory testing services for Taxiways, Landside Road and Car Park Rehabilitation Schemes, Airside Road Rehabilitation, Terminal Production Testing and De-Icing Caps Pavement Investigations.
The contract will see a team of 10 specialist engineers on-site for a period of a month, followed by an extensive battery of laboratory tests.
CET has Group and Flexible Scope UKAS accreditation which allows our laboratories to provide customers with comprehensive reports and analysis; aiding quality assurance, compliance and control whilst providing vital data to support cost-effective decision making.
